BEYOND THE WOODS is out today!

I have a couple fun things to share with you this week, and here’s the first:

Beyond the Woods: Fairy Tales Retold, edited by Paula Guran, is out today!

My fusion retelling of “Tatterhood,” titled “Lavanya and Deepika,” is snugly nestled among a roster of work from shining stars in the speculative fiction genre (including luminaries like Peter S. Beagle, Neil Gaiman, Holly Black, and Theodora Goss). I couldn’t be happier; “Lavanya and Deepika” was my first story sale back in 2011, to Demeter’s Spicebox. Now it’s in a book you can buy and put on your shelf!

I got my contributor copy the other day, and it’s beautiful! I hope you’ll check it out.
